Hindi Wikipedia
Hindi Wikipedia is the Hindi language edition of Wikipedia. It was launched in July 2003. As of February 2015 it had 106,000 articles.
==Google Translator Toolkit usage ==
In July 2010, Google announced that they had been working with Hindi Wikipedians to translate English language articles into Hindi and had so far (since 2008) translated 600,000 words in Hindi using a combination of Google Translate and manual checking.〔(Translating wikipedia ). Retrieved on 27 Oct 2010.〕 This coordinated translation has been responsible for a 20% rate of growth and counting for the site.
As of 2013 (and considering statistics since 2007), January to May 2008 is the only period in which the Hindi Wikipedia experienced multiple consecutive months with two-figures growth (in number of words), bringing it from 1.7 to 2.8 millions words.〔(Wikipedia statistics ).
